Action in the Community
The NFL also dedicates their time in the communities in order to foster change and promote healthy life styles. The NFL and its players and coaches dedicate their time in the community in numerous ways such as helping young athletes learn the game, stay in shape, and have a foundation for future success. One way the NFL achieves this feat is by the program Play 60 where NFL players promote children to go outside and play for at least 60 minutes everyday. Players and coaches show up at numerous schools in order to preach this message.
NFL Punt, Pass, and Kick
The NFL created the program punt, pass, and kick in order to get children to partake in football activities and promote the spread of football at all levels especially the youth. This is one of the first programs that younger children can join in order to gain interest in American football. The NFL also hosts other programs for the youth as you get older in order to promote a way for talented youth athletes to partake in football. These programs include NFL Flag and USA Football. Through these programs the NFL helps to develop youth talent and the talent of the future in the NFL.
